Hansen Technologies Limited (Hansen), a listed information systems and services group today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Hansen Professional Services Pty Ltd has renewed its contract to provide managed services for a further three years to Combined Financial Processing Limited (CFP), a major provider of IT services to Australian credit unions.
This new contract represents the continuation of a long mutually satisfying association which dates back to 1997, representing a period of 12 years in which Hansen will have been providing outsourcing services to CFP.
The new agreement is worth over $12 million in Revenue to Hansen and covers the following key areas of outsourced service provision:
- Unix systems for the core banking application;
- A centrally managed and integrated LAN environment incorporating software and hardware optimisation technologies;
- LAN servers for Internet Banking and Insurance applications;
- Wide Area Network support for almost 200 credit union branches across Australia;
- 24/7 Help Desk support;
- Centralised Services including firewall management, data and communication security, Internet access, application management and shared facility infrastructure support;
- Disaster Recovery facility, testing and recovery services for above systems.
CFP requires flexibility, innovation and commitment from its outsourced service provider in providing a high level of service in dealing with the day-to-day issues of technology required by Credit Unions.
